Responsibilities - Data Engineer

As Data Engineer you will be working with teams of other data specialists (such as Data Scientists, Analytics and Reporting Specialists, Web Tagging Experts) in creating the best data solutions for your clients. Your responsibility will be designing and creating platforms and pipelines for large data quantities, using technology like Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, Python en Databricks. Your responsibilities also include:
  • Setting up infrastructures;
  • Designing data warehouses;
  • Programming API’s.
Moreover, you will also be involved in integrating many data sources and building data pipelines. The process could be in data warehousing environment as well as in operational streaming environments. In all your developments, added value for the business and performance of your processes are central.

Requirements - Data Engineer

You are analytical problem solver, always curious to find new solutions and matching the following requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
  • Coding experience with Python;
  • Experience with environments that can be set up on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud;
  • Understanding of data-driven processes from concept to implementation;
  • Proficient command of the English language (Dutch is a pre-,).
